If you follow me on twitter, you may or may not know that I will be moving on the 15th of this month. After 6 years of living just
outside of Toronto, I will finally be living in the downtown core, where I already spend the majority of my time.
Despite the fact that my mother and I have moved many times (somewhere around six or seven, I've lost count!) I still despise the process of moving. Though me and my mother have similar taste, It always takes weeks, sometimes months, to figure out what we want to do with the decor. While making these decisions, we're stuck looking at a pile of sad looking brown cardboard boxes. So to speed up this process, I started a folder of inspiration for our "perfect rooms." Yes, call me crazy but there is a whole folder,
I'm at 197 photos while typing this!
Sleek modern furniture, vintage bohemian accessories & feminine touches is the objective. I was never the girl who wanted pastel pink walls and a Parisian decor, but now I'm discovering that I actually like these things. Rich colored bedspreads, jewel tone pillows and cast iron embellishments look amazing when balanced with cold, stark, minimalist furniture.
*sequels from excitement* Here are just a few of the many photos from my Perfect Room folder.
