Denim, Chain & Fringe

A well-fitting, sleeveless denim dress has been on my "to buy" list for a couple years now. When I came across one on my daily rounds for new online items, I was genuinely excited. Can I be honest for a moment? (Of course I can, it's my blog...) I haven't been impressed with ASOS curve range lately, but this dress is pretty amazing. The denim is soft, the buttons don't pull at the waist or bust, it's a great length, love it.

I've also been pretty obsessed with body chains over the last couple months. ( It all started with a head chain ) I decided to finally make a few. Will defiantly be abusing them during the summer months, that is for sure!

Omg you read my mind! Why can't Asos create all of their designs in all sizes. Why is it that the curve section is limited to under 100 pieces? They gotta do better.

Love this look!

I really love this look. Whenever I see a denim dress, I tend to think spring or summer dress, but you are inspiring me to rethink its winter-ish appeal. Your lip color and glasses are all kind of amazing, too.

I couldn't help but look at this and think, "Omg, she's such a FASHION STUDENT." Hahaha but really, you look gorgeous as always! Love the lip color.

ps. I would totally buy a few of those body chains off you......just an idea!

i just received a package from asos today, and i'm sending both items back. one runs small, and the other is poor quality (dress material is like a bad windbreaker that makes noise when it rubs together). it was very disappointing. i'm glad i didn't get the stuff at full price!

your outfit is great though! loving the styling of it :)

Young, Wilde & Free - Right? Ugh, so bad... Hopefully in the future they do better or else I fear for their market.

Syda, I AM such a fashion student LOL, we all look like this at my school and I think it's hilarious. 4 of us came in the same colour denim today... Awful! Email me, we'll hook something up ;)

Jill - I'm sorry to hear that, and I understand. They have been very hit and miss in the past for me. I am very selective of what I buy from them. Anything that is Varsoce or Poly blend, I tend to stay away from for these reasons. Also their Acrylic stuff, yuck! They are getting the idea a bit for spring, most of their items are cotton or linen now.

I've never found a denim dress to fit me well but this dress is good on you. The shawl is a surprise but works with the overall vibe. You look comfortable & cool.

Love it. I've been really into denim dresses and button downs and this is perfect. Also love the body chain (and the head chain), I'm definitely gonna have to try one. You should do some body chain DIY tutorials.

Definitely looks great on you...now I'm curious about the body chains...did you make them yourself? And that shade of lipstick is perfect on you.

Love and adore this look....it seems like so basic, but the additions of things such as the body chain just turn the edgyness up a notch....fab as always!
