I think if you stay true to what YOU want to post, that better content will just naturally come out of it. Your blog can't be good if you're not enjoying it -- so do what you need to do to be happy with it, and those who dig the new style will stay and those who don't will unfollow, and life will go on. But you'll be a better, happier blogger. Win/win.
I'd be willing to read your 3 page novel : ). I also think people come to your blog for who you are and not solely just because they want to see a certain kind of post. Yes, please do whatever you want : )

I literally just found your blog from the refinery29 interview and I think this vid is hilarious! I love that you are 6'5" cuz I am 6'3" lol! Bet you get asked all the time if you play basketball lol! And I think you should be allowed to post what you want because its not like your followers or the people that leave comments are paying you to blog really lol...and you started it for you! GIRL I follow you for your attitude more than anything. I think a lot of bloggers find it boring being niche, hence the rise of the "lifestyle" blog. I post about all kinds of shit, beauty, pictures, clothes, friends etc. Just do that we'll lap it up xo
I love your post nobody want it contains. I think you should blog about what is going to make you happy. That is what I do and I enjoy it. I would love see more of your personal life (like what you were talking about on your video) and yes I would be willingly to read the 3 page novel because your writing is interesting. But please post more than once a month :) I enjoy your blog no matter what you say in it or what you post!
How about you make another section on your blog for different things like:
>fashion
> rants
>Health/fitness progress
> Life (cool things you see randomly)
If you have more variety you'll satisfy everyone. That's my 2 cents.
Ugh, I'm the same way about things. I have a hard time continuing to be interested in blogging because it can get really boring! That's especially an issue for me because I don't even have like a blogging buddy (I guess that's what you'd call it). It's hard to be creative/stay interested when you have no one to bounce ideas off of or to do things with for the blog. I'm a new follower (I saw your blog on Refinery29) but I liked this video! So maybe try that more. I like your blog from what I've seen if that helps! lol

I love your blog! You should make more make videos because clearly you are hilarious although you identify yourself as awkward (I'm self proclaimed awkward at times too). So I've just started reading your blog (like legit two days ago) and I pretty much stalked it back to the beginning. I am organizing this comment into points to stop it from suffering from wall-of-text syndrome, so here it goes:
a) I love seeing a girl like me on-screen - a tall black girl from TO with a very similar boy type to mine. so fucking refreshing, and it's really inspiring me to get back into blogging - i like doing outfit pics but in all honesty I was just too self-conscious of my looks to do them regularly.
b) you are hilarious and I think you should do more vlogs cause you have an awesome on screen personality
c) your blog = your space. say whatever the fuck you want on here. we love you which means we'll prob love whatever you have to say. I'm looking forward to it.
I love your videos as well. Obviously they're a hit and we all love hearing from you and witnessing your personality. I struggled for a while on what to even blog about anymore, which isn't good since mine is fairly new but it boiled down to me just being uncomfortable in front of a camera and hence not wanting to take outfit photos. During this time of avoiding the lens, I found what other things I loved and wanted to post about. I decided that my blog was a creative outlet for me and therefore anything I wanted to post about whether it be cooking, art, travels, simple writing or anything else. I know whatever you do will be entertaining for your readers, and I hope you'll look into what makes you tick and express it here on your blog.

I'm really excited for all these new changes. That's not to say that I don't love your blog the way it is, because I truly do - your style is always on point. You just have to do what you actually want to do. Do this blog for you and nobody else. If people don't like it they can go fuck themselves.

i love your fashion posts, but it'd also be interesting to get more posts about your healthy eating plan and exercise regimen. like so many people have said before, as long as you're doing something that makes you happy, that trumps everything.
