HI THERE!
My name is Franceta Johnson and I am an early-20-something, wild child Toronto native who is currently on the journey to combine my love for both Fashion & Graphic Design into a creative, Frankenstein like, job of my dreams! I happen to also be a living Amazon woman, sarcastic yet amiable being, self taught photoshop nut, body positive advocate, messenger of feminist fury, lover of the slightly odd & different and lastly, the queen of absolutely all things inappropriate.
I started Frantic Dreams in March of 2010, as a journal for my dreams and aspirations of one day becoming a plus sized fashion designer. Somewhere in the process of finishing Fashion School, I came across my love for Graphic design and decided to pursue these other strains of creativity that spark my intrest. Though these dreams of becoming a designer are still alive and intact, I renamed this blog Franceta Johnson to better fit my own needs and better represent my brand. After 3 years of blogging, I came to the realization that this is my blog and I should do with it, what I please! My personal style, music choices and general interests are significantly more fun to write about than boring stock posts! Over the years, this site has transformed into somewhat of a "lifestyle" blog, where though my posts I try to inspire and motivate others on their own journey through... well, whatever that may be!
I'm constantly reassuring readers that breaking all of the rules and being completely true to yourself, especially when it comes to personal style, is not only the best way to enjoy fashion regardless of size, but an amazing way to go though life as a whole. Hey... afterall, the rules were meant to be broken and sometimes, you just can't help but be a little "inappropriate," Whatever!
